Used exclusively with Arc Products™ seam tracking systems, the tactile seam sensor tracks the weld joint by responding to the probe tip movements in both x and y axes and sending feedback signals to the APC or standard control unit. This sensor feedback loop enables the system to maintain a ±0.005 in. accuracy to align the welding arc with the weld joint.
