Harold Adams Harold L. Adams
Mr. Adams has been Chairman Emeritus of RTKL Associates Inc., a global architectural and engineering firm, since November 2003. He served as RTKL’s Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer from 1967 to November 2003. Mr. Adams is the Board’s Lead Director.
Curtis E. Espeland
Mr. Espeland is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Eastman Chemical Company, a chemical, fiber and plastics manufacturer with global headquarters in Kingsport, Tennessee. He joined Eastman in 1996 and has been in his current position since 2008. Previously, Mr. Espeland was Vice President, Finance and Chief Accounting Officer. Prior to joining Eastman, Mr. Espeland was an audit and business advisory manager with Arthur Andersen LLP in the United States, Europe and Australia.
David Gunning David H. Gunning
Mr. Gunning is the former Vice Chairman of Cliffs Natural Resources, Inc., an iron ore and coal mining company formerly known as Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. He was Vice Chairman of the company from April 2001 until his retirement in May 2007. Prior to that, Mr. Gunning served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Capital American Financial Corp. and is a former corporate partner of the Jones Day law firm.
Stephen Hanks

Stephen G. Hanks
Mr. Hanks is the former President of the Washington Division of URS Corporation, a design, engineering, construction and management solutions company. The Washington Division was formerly Washington Group International, which merged with URS Corporation in 2007. Mr. Hanks served as President of the Washington Division from November 2007 until his retirement in January 2008. From 2001 to November 2007, Mr. Hanks was the Chief Executive Officer of Washington Group International, Inc., and President from 2000 to November 2007. He had also been Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Secretary.

Robert Knoll

Robert J. Knoll
Mr. Knoll is a former Partner of the accounting firm, Deloitte & Touche LLP, a position he held from 1978 to his retirement in 2000. From 1995 to 1999, Mr. Knoll served as National Director of the firm’s Accounting and Auditing Professional Practice with oversight responsibility for the accounting and auditing consultation process, SEC practice and risk management process.

G. Russell Lincoln

G. Russell Lincoln
Mr. Lincoln is President of N.A.S.T. Inc., a personal investment firm, a position he has held since 1996. Prior to joining N.A.S.T. Inc., he served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Algan, Inc.

Kathryn Lincoln

Kathryn Jo Lincoln
Ms. Lincoln is Chair and Chief Investment Officer of the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy, a non-profit educational institution teaching land economics and taxation, and has held this position since 1996. She also served as President of the Lincoln Foundation, Inc., a non-profit foundation that supported the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy, from 1999 to October 2006. The two entities merged in 2006.

William Macdonald

William E. MacDonald, III
Mr. MacDonald is the former Vice Chairman of National City Corporation, a diversified financial holding company, a position he held from 2001 until his retirement in December 2006. At National City, he was responsible for its seven-state regional and national corporate banking businesses, the Risk Management and Credit Administration unit, Capital Markets and the Private Client Group. Mr. MacDonald joined National City in 1968, and, during his tenure, held a number of key management positions, including Senior Executive Vice President of National City Corporation.

Christopher Mapes

Christopher L. Mapes
Mr. Mapes is President and Chief Executive Officer of Lincoln Electric Holdings, Inc. and a member of the Company’s executive management team. He was appointed to his current position December 31, 2012. Previously, Mr. Mapes was Lincoln’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), the position he was appointed to when he joined the Company in 2011. He was elected to the Lincoln Board in 2010 while serving as Executive Vice President of A. O. Smith Corporation and President of its Electrical Products unit. Prior to his career at A.O. Smith, Mr. Mapes was President, Motor Sales and Marketing of Regal Beloit Corporation and had also served as President of the Global OEM Business Group of Superior Essex, Inc.

Hellene Runtagh

Hellene S. Runtagh
Ms. Runtagh is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of the Berwind Group, a diversified pharmaceutical services, industrial manufacturing and real estate company. From1997 to 2001, Ms. Runtagh was Executive Vice President of Universal Studios, a media and entertainment company. Prior to joining Universal Studios, she spent 27 years at General Electric Company in a variety of leadership positions.

John Stropki

John M. Stropki
Mr. Stropki is Executive Chairman of Lincoln Electric Holdings, Inc. He assumed his current position on December 31, 2012, after serving as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company since October 2004. Mr. Stropki was elected President and Chief Executive Officer in June 2004. From May 2003 to June 2004, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company. From May 1996 to May 2003, Mr. Stropki was Executive Vice President of the Company and President, North America, of the Lincoln Electric Company.

George Walls

George H. Walls, Jr.
General Walls is the former Chief Deputy Auditor of the State of North Carolina, a position he held from January 2001 to December 2004. General Walls retired from the U.S. Marine Corps in 1993 with the rank of Brigadier General after nearly 29 years of distinguished service.
