While I was cleaning out the loft in my garage I found a Hibachi-style grill that appeared almost new. After using the grill a few times, I decided to fabricate a stand for it.
The stand is made from 1 x 2 inch, 16 gauge tubing. It is 34 inches tall, 32 inches wide and 16 inches in depth. The top and grilling accessories are made of stainless steel. Two wheels make the stand portable.
The Hibachi is set into the stainless top and can be removed for cleaning.
To weld the stand together, I made use of two different Lincoln Electric welders:
Square Wave™ TIG 175
POWER MIG® 180C
We have enjoyed many a BBQ from this creation.
