Building a Lumber Rack

Randy Johnson of Dalhart, Texas built this lumber rack out of scrap pipe.

He used his Lincoln Electric Weld-Pak® 140HD wire feeder welder and self-shielded flux-cored wire. For over 20 years, Randy has welded with compact wire feeder welders and just started using self-shielded flux-cored wire when he bought his 140HD. He likes self-shielded wire, especially when welding outside in breezy conditions.

Randy finished the ends of the pipes with dome caps and welded small casters on the bottom of the rack so "I could get the monster around."
