I use a Lincoln Electric POWER MIG® 180C wire feeder welder to make all my bike models and art pieces. I purchased this welder about four years ago and I'm extremely happy with this machine; it is great for detailed work.
I use .030" diameter wire and find that it is perfect for most of my projects.
The wheels and yokes on my bikes all move and I've even made some with retractable kick stands. Sometimes I incorporate old junk into my art pieces.
The detailed bikes are very popular at the runs and drag races and sell for several hundred dollars. My simpler pieces go for somewhat less.
Thanks for making such great machines!
