Dave Munn fabricated this multi-use skid-steer attachment out of 2-inch x 4-inch x 1/4-inch steel box tube and 3/8-inch thick steel plate.
The attachment can function as a boom for use on a construction site to set walls, garage or pole barn trusses, or to set small equipment in a basement or truck. The hook on the end allows for slightly over 21 ft. of height. There is also a hook closer to the skid-steer for positioning heavier items. The attachment can also accommodate a snow plow.
A hitch receiver tube was welded on the bottom cross bar of the attachment so you can easily move trailers around the job site.
Dave selected Lincoln Electric Excalibur® 7018 MR® stick electrode to weld the project because of how smooth it runs and the easy slag removal.
