Ben Phillips has lived in Klamath Falls, Oregon for all of his 80+ years.
Ben needed a cart for his welding equipment, which includes a Lincoln Electric POWER MIG® 140C. So his friend, Frank Borges, a welder and master of all trades, designed and built one for him.
A local grocery store kindly donated one of their old shopping carts and Frankie and Ben set about modifying the frame and components to fit Ben's needs.
The cart was welded using Lincoln Electric's SuperArc® L-56 MIG wire with mixed gas. The local Lincoln Electric distributor, Norco Inc., helped provide expertise and support.
Ben's a long-time, loyal Lincoln Electric customer and is proud of his relationship with the company and Norco.
*The above project images and descriptions have been published to show how individuals used their ingenuity for their own needs, convenience and enjoyment. Only limited details are available and the projects have NOT been engineered by the Lincoln Electric Company. Therefore, when you use the ideas for projects of your own, you must develop your own details and plans and the safety and performance of your work is your responsibility.
