Lincoln Electric Selected as Welding Equipment Supplier for Strippers, Cars for Cash

THE STRIPPER BOYS ARE BACK ON NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC

31 июл 2013 г.

The stripper boys are back with a brand new second series on Wednesday 7 August at 8pm on National Geographic (Sky 543, Virgin 230) to answer the question - how much money can be made from scrapping cars?

Two resident teams of vehicle breakers each choose a car, break it into bits and see who can make the most from flogging the parts.

As well as plying their trade in the UK, you’ll see our intrepid grease junkies travelling to Europe to snap up car bargains and sell parts for a score.

The show’s producers chose Lincoln Electric to supply welding and cutting equipment along with welding helmets and safety apparel. The Company provided a variety of products for the show, including Invertec® PC210, Speedtec 200C MIG Welder and Viking auto-darkening welding helmets.

Dom Bowles, Executive Producer of the show, said  "When it came to choosing a  supplier of welding and cutting equipment, along with the associated safety gear, calling Lincoln Electric was a no-brainer.  Having worked with Lincoln before on Channel 4's Scrapheap Challenge, I knew that we'd be dealing with professionals, who provide professional equipment and I was not disappointed".
