DETAILS

LINCOREĀ® 8620 Metal-Cored Submerged Arc Wire, can be flame hardened to 38 Rockwell C (RC) Recommended to be used with primary 801, secondary 802 and 880 standard flux. Composition and properties depend upon dilution. Single layer deposit properties depend upon base metal and/or build-up material.

Features

  • Metal-cored wire for build-up on worn rolls
  • A little softer than LincoreĀ® 20 for easier machining
  • Used on rolls and backup rolls when water spray causes pitting on tool steel deposits

  • Caster rolls

Welding Positions

  • Flat/Horizontal

  • Used for 8620 type rolls
