Aluminum MIG Welding Wire

DETAILS

Higher Silicon content 11-13 % with low melting point for excellent fluidity which also enables to be used as brazing alloy on thin sections.

Features

  • Substitute for 4043 to increase Silicon in weld metal
  • Minimize hot cracking to produce higher fillet weld shear strength
  • Cosmetic appearing welds
  • Lower melting point and higher fluidity than 4043 wires

  • Brazing of aluminum sheets, extrusions and castings

  • All except vertical down

Shielding Gas

  • I1 : Inert gas Ar (100%), I3 : Inert gas Ar+ 0.5-95% He, Flow rate : 14-24 l/min (Argon)
