Last week Lincoln was delighted to welcome EnJunior for a tour of their showroom.
EnJunior promotes engineering to young people under the age of 14, hosting numerous events in schools, as well as running regular STEM activities. Facilitated by FaithStar LLP, they were formed after 10 year old boy Umair asked "I want to learn more about engineering, why do the older kids get to learn and not me?".
During their visit to Lincoln, EnJunior were treated to a full tour of the facilities at their showroom, as well as the opportunity to test their skills on the VRTEX 360 virtual reality welding simulators and live welding demonstrations.
Speaking of the visit, Haseena Siddique - Business Project Officer at FaithStar has said, "Lincoln Electric is ahead of the game, linking in with youngsters to encourage genuine interest in this field. The trip was fantastic, really engaging and a huge thank you to the team at Lincoln!"
Umair himself also added, "A huge thank you to the team at Lincoln. The VRTEX was simulator was amazing!".
