For one week each summer more than 500,000 aviation enthusiasts and members of the Experimental Aircraft Association converge at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, WI, to celebrate the art of aviation.

Throughout this six day event, the Welding and Cutting Experts from Lincoln Electric will be on hand in booths 49-51 to demonstrate the Company’s products, offer special show pricing, conduct welding workshops, and host several of the airshow’s performers for special fan meet-and-greet sessions.

Meet Jet Car Driver Jerry McCart and Watch as He Ignites the "Wall of Fire" on Saturday, July 28

Jerry McCart, driver of the "Glory Days" jet dragster and the "Wicked Willy" funny car will be in the Lincoln booth all week to sign autographs and take pictures. Jerry and Wicked Willy will also be performing throughout the show, the highlight being, his performance during the night air show in which he ignites the "Wall of Fire."

In addition to the contest and the booth appearances, attendees can see live demos of Lincoln products or try their hand at welding during one of our hands-on welding workshops.

During the six-day event, be sure to stop by the Lincoln Electric workshop tent where our welding experts will be on hand to teach homebuilders the proper techniques of TIG welding on their own aircraft and discuss the importance of welding as it applies to the aviation industry.
