Chip Foose “Designs a Dream” for One Lucky Winner

TV personality and star of Velocity’s Overhaulin, Chip Foose, helped take one lucky Lincoln fan’s dream car from rendering to reality during our Design Your Dream giveaway at Fabtech 2012.

Participants submitted photos of their dream car in hopes of winning an autographed sketch of their vehicle, drawn by Chip, live from the show floor. Chip’s appearance in our booth began with him calling the winner - Del S. of Racine WI, who’s 1963 Mercury Meteor was selected – to discuss the details of his sketch.

Over the course of the next few hours, Chip demonstrated his creative talents for the fans in attendance as he sketched out an original Foose rendering of Del’s dream car. Del was elated to have been selected and is a Lincoln fan for life; “I’m still using the Lincoln welder my dad bought over 20 years ago!”

The second half of the Design Your Dream giveaway included a random drawing for the Money Matters™ equipment on display at the show. The equipment included a POWER MIG® 140C, POWER MIG® 180 Dual, POWER MIG® 256, Square Wave™ TIG 175 and a Ranger® 225.  Unbeknownst to the winners, Chip took a moment and sketched an autographed drawing on each machine.
