Here is Carl Friend's outdoor fireplace that he fabricated from scrap metal using his Lincoln Weld-Pak 100 wire feeder welder.
The fire box is 18" x 18" x 24". Legs are 2" angle iron cut to a length of 8" each. The roof frame uses 1" flat iron and is covered with 14 gauge sheet metal. The door is 2" 10 gauge flat iron.
There's something special when family and guests gathering around a fire to enjoy each others' company and good conversation, especially on a cool night.
