Stainless Steel Heron and Trout

This picture is an example of the art work Jim Clark of Missoula, Montana made from 1/8 inch thick 304 stainless steel.

The material is all plasma cut by hand. He uses a Lincoln Electric Square Wave TIG 175 PRO (current model is Precision TIG® 225) to weld the pieces together and do some intricate coloration of the metal. He also uses a Harris® Port-A-Torch for coloring the bigger sections. All the color is from heat. No paint and no clear coat.

*The above project images and descriptions have been published to show how individuals used their ingenuity for their own needs, convenience and enjoyment. Only limited details are available and the projects have NOT been engineered by the Lincoln Electric Company. Therefore, when you use the ideas for projects of your own, you must develop your own details and plans and the safety and performance of your work is your responsibility.
