Aluminum MIG welding wire SuperGlaze® MIG 4043 - 1.2 mm - 7.26 KG SPOOL (S300)

DETAILS

4043 is commonly used for welding on 6XXX base materials and other heat treatable alloys. 4043 is a soft alloy, with good crack resistance and high penetration compared to other filler metals. It can be used for certain brazing applications and to weld on high silicon casts like A356. Welding of 5XXX with 4043 and other 4XXX filler metals should be avoided.

  • Designed for welding heat-treatable base alloys and more specifically the 6XXX series alloys
  • Lower melting point and more fluidity than the 5XXX series filler alloys
  • Low sensitivity to weld cracking with the 6XXX series base alloys
