SuperGlaze 5087 is used where higher tensile strength is required in base metals with up to 5% Mg

Features

  • • Designed to meet the tensile strength requirements of high magnesium alloys
  • • For base metals with a max. of 5% Mg
  • • The presence of Zirconium produces a fine-grained weld metal structure
  • • Reduced tendency of solidification cracking in highly restrained welds

Welding Positions

  • All except vertical down

Shielding Gas

  • 100% Argon Argon / Helium Mixtures Flow Rate: 30 - 50 CFH
