DETAILS

Tech-Rod® offers a wide variety of nickel alloy grades of stick electrodes lot tested with certificates of actual deposit chemistry and typical mechanical results available online

Features

  • Ideal for oxidation resistance and high temperature strength
  • High manganese of this weld deposit reduces the possibility of micro fissures but reduces creep strength which limits its usage up to 900°F (482°C)
  • Wide range of applications

Typical Applications

  • Used for welding nickel-chromium-iron alloys to themselves
  • Used for dissimilar welding between nickel-chromium-iron alloys to mild steel or stainless steel
  • General Fabrication

Welding Positions

  • Polarity DC+

Shielding Gas

  • N/A
