FLUXINOX 347

Flux-Cored Gas-Shielded (FCAW-G)

CLASSIFICATIONS:
AWS A5.22 : E347T0-1

Alloyed rutile flux cored wire for the welding of stabilized corrosion resistant Cr Ni-steels.

DETAILS

The weld metal is used for operating temperatures up to 400 °C, non-scaling up to about 800 °C. FLUXINOX 347 exhibits excellent, almost spatter-free, welding properties with very easy slag removal from fillet welds. The weld beads produced are flat and smooth without undercut and with little discolouration of the weld, thus pickling costs can be minimised.

Features

  • Alloyed rutile flux cored wire for the welding of stabilized corrosion resistant Cr Ni-steels.
  • High productivity generates savings in total welding costs. Optimal semiautomatic process with high duty cycle. Application of standard Ar/CO2 or CO2 shielding gases optimizes welding cost.
  • The best quality of welds with standard CV power sources helps to reduce investment expenditures.
  • Savings in total welding cost resulting from reduced cleaning. Spatter free welds with easy slag removal.
  • Higher overall performance and weldability comparing to solid wires and manual stick electrodes.

Welding Positions

  • Flat/horizontal

Shielding Gas

  • M21 : Mixed gas Ar+ 15-25% CO2, C1 : Active gas 100% CO2
