DETAILS

SUPRANOX RS 308H is a rutile coated electrode for welding austenitic, creep resistant steels with higher carbon contents, type 18%Cr - 8%Ni. Operating temperatures are between 400º-700ºC and the deposit is insusceptible to embrittlement and to scaling up to 800ºC. Carbon content in the range of 0.04-0.08 provides higher tensile and creep strengths at elevated temperatures

  • Weldable on AC and DC
  • Very smooth bead appearance.
